Sonnie is my foundation bitch who is nearly eight years old. She is still as stubborn now as when she was a puppy. She has been a wonderful companion and a great mother to her puppies over the years. even now when they visit or stay with us, she still plays with them as if they had never left. She was a good hunting partner and great teacher to her youngsters. She is  resolute as a watch dog when someone comes near the property.

Her show career was short, but she enjoyed success as a youngster winning many in group awards along the way. Sonnie has only had three litters  of pups ,and was spayed after the last. She shows no signs of aging except for the tell tale grey around the muzzle.
