Shaitani was my first ridgeback. He was a lovely brown nose boy, who basically didn't grow much past minimum height. He had the most piercing eyes, and let you know how he felt by one of his long staring looks. He was devoted to me , and I to him. He was never shown, but did some obedience with very little success. His passion was hunting, anything from rabbits to sambar deer. He was fearless and  loyal to the end. He would amaze me with his strength and tenacity. He saved my life from certain danger on many hunting trips, and was my companion throughout his life. It was one of the sadist days of my life when we parted company, and he  laid to rest for the last time.
